Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the maintenance and further development of the Windows server infrastructure and central cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure)
• Ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT operations as well as the continuous optimization of the overall IT landscape
• Manage Exchange onprem / o365 environment
• Manage Active Directory environment
• Manage Windows SQL environment
• Manage on-premises and cloud-based environments (Microsoft ecosystem, Azure, M365)
• Follow and maintain IT security standards, backup and disaster recovery concepts
• Manage user access, permissions, and identity management
• Handle incident, problem, and change management
• Provide support for infrastructure-related topics

Qualifications and experience

• Completed training in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable qualification
• Further certifications are an advantage (e.g. Microsoft, ITIL, Security-related certifications)
• Experience in IT infrastructure within a KMU or similar environment
• In-depth knowledge of Windows server operations (Active Directory, DNS, SQL, etc.)
• You are familiar with Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra services or are motivated to actively familiarise yourself with these topics
• Experience with Exchange and certificate management (e.g. Let's Encrypt, CSC)
• Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: monitoring, networking (Cisco, Fortigate, Kemp) or archiving solutions (e.g. Metalogix), Linux, PowerShell
• Fluent English skills, good German skills, any other languages are an advantage
